Beer Craft Ornaments with the Arvada Public Library at New Image Brewing

Handmade gifts favorite way to spoil my friends and if I can do that in the bar while enjoying a cold frosty one… WELL its a HOLIDAY MIRACLE- Workshop participants made three treats to take home; pull tab snowflakes, beer box ornaments and the ridiculously cute winter dioramas in a can. These are some of my favorite groups to teach since it is hard to be a perfectionist in a bar, everyone is more laid back and social. There were a few folks who came who are library workshop regulars, and then a few people who swore they had no craft skills and ended up making ornaments that were fabulous. New Image was a fantastic host with spectacular beers - Moped, the blood orange Whit beer being my favorite , super crisp, a little sour and that nose forward coriander tang of a great Belgian white style .

This wasn’t my first Beer Crafts workshop with the library- we made birdhouses a couple years back and I’ve done some crazy fun altered book workshops with the teen council. More workshops in Arvada to come- we’re already planning an altered vintage fabric workshop for the spring of 2020! Stay tuned!
